We have the pleasure to announce that the renewed EPS Emmy Noether Distinction for Women in Physics will be awarded to Prof. Aleksandra Radenovic, EPFL, Switzerland.

Prof. Radenovic is being honored “for her groundbreaking contributions to the fields of nanopore science and nanofluidics that have advanced both physics and biology, as well as for her exemplary leadership in the scientific community, her commitment to mentoring and career development, and her sustained efforts to promote diversity and support women in science.”

The distinction will be presented to Prof. Radenovic by the President of the European Physical Society, Prof. José María De Teresa, during the conference (The award ceremony and prize winner’s talk are scheduled for Wednesday, 8 September, at 18:30.)
