Venue & Capacity
Location: Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), C/Doctor Aiguader 88, E‑08003 Barcelona.
Auditorium capacity: 248 seats + 2 wheelchair-accessible spaces.
Presentation Lengths
- Orals: 20 min, including discussion.
- Invited talks: 30 min, including discussion.
- Keynotes: 45 min, plus discussion.
Speakers are asked to check in with the session chair 10 minutes before their session begins.
Presentation Format
- We recommend using a 16:9 presentation format with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080).
Poster Presentation
- Poster board size: 2 m (H) × 1 m (W)
- Fixation: Velcro will be provided on site

Photography & Recording
By participating, you consent to EPS using photographs for promotional purposes.
No video recording by participants is allowed. Slides photos are for personal use only.
Visa & Invitation Letters
Attendees needing a visa must register first, then request an invitation letter by emailing conferences@eps.org, including your paper reference. Only contributors will receive invitation letters. Any express shipping costs (~70 €) are at the recipient’s charge.
Rates Reduction
Reduced registration rates are available for:
- Members of EPS Member Societies
- Students
You may be asked to provide valid proof of your student status or EPS membership when registering or on site.
Electricity & Plugs
Barcelona uses 230 V with European two-pin plugs. If you’re coming from the UK, US or elsewhere, bring a suitable adapter.
